A healthcare provider in Canada partnered with Modulotech to develop a patient-facing mobile application. The clinic needed to streamline appointment bookings, reduce administrative load, and give patients access to their medical records — all while ensuring compliance with healthcare privacy regulations and accessibility standards.

Our Mobile Solution

We built a secure, cross-platform mobile app that enables patients to book appointments, view past medical data, receive automated reminders, and communicate with healthcare professionals directly. The interface was tailored for accessibility, especially for older patients, and ensured smooth adoption across all user groups.

Our UX designers focused on large, clearly labeled navigation elements, minimal input fields, and intuitive flows especially for elderly users unfamiliar with digital apps.

Development

We created a cross-platform app for iOS and Android with secure two-factor authentication. Real-time scheduling, in-app access to historical medical records, and automated notifications were core to the build.

Build

The app was rigorously tested across mobile devices and integrated into the clinic’s internal scheduling and data systems. Push notifications were enabled for reminders, and HIPAA-equivalent standards were used to ensure data protection.

Results

After just three months:
